Is Shaun Edwards in the Rugby League Hall of Fame?

Shaun Edwards, an English rugby union coach and former rugby league player, was born on October 17, 1966. He is currently the defense coach for France. With 37 winner’s medals, scrum-half or stand-off Edwards is the most decorated player in rugby league history. He was the 25th individual inducted into the Rugby League Hall of Fame in 2015.

He led England as a schoolboy in both rugby union and league. Between 1983 and 1997, he competed for Wigan in the Championship and Super League. He also spent time with the Balmain Tigers, London Broncos, and Bradford Bulls. While representing Wigan, Edwards amassed a record-breaking nine Challenge Cup victories in addition to a record-breaking eight titles. He participated in eleven Challenge Cup finals in all, which is a record.

Shaun Edwards, a former Wigan and Great Britain player, was inducted into the Rugby League Hall of Fame.

Edwards has spent the last 15 years playing rugby union, but he is still the most decorated player in rugby league.

In addition to winning three World Club Challenges, eight Championships, and the Man of Steel award in 1990, he was a member of the Wigan team that won the Challenge Cup for eight straight years at Wembley starting in 1988.
