In Venice, Italy, there is a waterway called the Grand Canal. It serves as one of the city’s main waterways. The canal forms a sizable reverse-S shape through the heart of Venice, with one end of the canal leading into the lagoon near the Santa Lucia train station and the other end leading into the basin at San Marco. It measures 3.8 kilometers in length, 30 to 90 m broad, and 5 meters deep on average.
