JP McManus is a racehorse owner and businessman from Ireland.  He learned how to drive a bulldozer and milk cows, but he knew it wasn’t for him.

He and his wife, Noreen, purchased Martinstown Stud on over 400 acres in County Limerick in 1982 and his first horse, “Cill Dara.” He went on to build the empire he has today, which includes 400 horses in training.
