Neve Te Aroha Ardern Gayford is the daughter of New Zealand’s Head of Government Jacinda Ardern and her partner, Clarke Gayford.

Her name Neve is from Irish origin which means ‘bright’; Aroha is Māori for ‘love’, and Te Aroha is a rural town close to her mother’s home town of Morrinsville.
Who Is Jacinda Ardern?
Jacinda Ardern is the current Prime Minister of New Zealand and leader of the Labour Party since 2017.
Born on July 26, 1980, in Hamilton, and raised in Morrinsville, Ardern became a member of the Labour Party at age 17.
She was schooled at the University of Waikato, where she studied Communication Studies in politics and public relations.

Upon graduation, Ardern worked as a researcher in the office of Prime Minister Helen Clark, and later as an adviser in the Cabinet Office.
Ardern also worked in London, as a senior policy adviser in an 80-person policy unit of former British prime minister Tony Blair.
She had assisted the U.K Home Office, in the review of England and Wales policies.
Ardern claims to be a social democrat and a progressive. In 2017, she emerged as the world’s youngest female head of government at age 37.
The following year, she had her daughter, and made history as the world’s second elected head of government to give birth while in office.
