Jake Schreier is an American film director and music video director. He was born in Berkeley, California. The names of his parents and what they do is not public knowledge.

He attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Following graduation, he created music videos, including one for Francis and the Lights, a performer/songwriter with whom Schreier previously played piano for several years.
Jake Schreier has also directed advertisements for Absolut Vodka and Verizon phones. He co-founded the film collective Waverly Films with his undergraduate friends and proceeded to collaborate on film projects for television and the online.

He is known for his work in directing feature films and music videos. Schreier made his feature film directorial debut with the science fiction drama “Robot & Frank” in 2012. The film, starring Frank Langella and Susan Sarandon, received critical acclaim for its unique story and performances.

In addition to his work in feature films, Jake Schreier has directed music videos for various artists.
