Jakub Jankto Biography

Jakub Jankto is a Czech professional footballer who currently plays for the Czech First League club Sparta Prague on loan from La Liga club Getafe, as well as the Czech Republic national team. Jankto joined Udinese in 2014 from Slavia Prague for a reported fee of €700,000. In 2015, he was loaned out to Serie B side Ascoli after making his league debut. Jankto made his Serie B debut for Ascoli on September 15, 2015, in a 1-0 home win over Virtus Entella.

On July 6, 2018, Sampdoria announced that Jankto had joined the club on a loan basis with the option to make the move permanent for €15 million. Jankto scored his first goal for Sampdoria in a 1-0 Coppa Italia victory over Viterbese on August 12, 2018. Later, Sampdoria made the move permanent.
