As the younger sister of Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, Athena inherited a passion for drumming from a family deeply rooted in the music scene. Her father, David Lee Thomas Bass, was an American U.S. Army sergeant, while her mother, Vassiliki “Voula” Papadimitriou, held the title of Miss Greece for the 1960 Miss World event.
