James John Raymond is an American musician, songwriter, producer, and film composer.

He has produced and co-written many records with David Crosby of CSN, the most recent being “For free” which was released July 23rd 2021 on BMG Music.

Currently, James and Croz are working on a new record to be released in 2023. He has written songs for Gracie Ray, Crosby, Crosby/Nash, CSNsometimesY, Sovory and played on records for Warren Zevon and many others.

James recently co-wrote a song with Michael McDonald; one of his lifelong heroes as well as one with Donald Fagan, another lifelong hero!

His most recent work as a composer is scoring a television commercial for the Special Olympics taking place in Orlando in 2022. The spot was directed and shot by Ben Van Hook.
