Jason Robert Kanzler is an American former professional baseball outfielder and pitcher and coach.

Kanzler attended Penfield high school, where he played high school baseball.
During high school, Kanzler was a three-year letter winner, serving as captain for one season at Penfield for head coach Mike Sinnot. In his senior year, he was named Team MVP, first-team All-County, third-team All-State and first-team All-Greater Rochester and also named All-County Honorable Mention as a junior.
Jason Kanzler played college baseball for SUNY Buffalo. He graduated from the University at Buffalo also known as SUNY Buffalo with a degree in biomedical sciences.
Jason Kanzler was selected by Minnesota Twins with the 590th overall pick in the twentieth round of the 2013 MLB draft.
In 2014, The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Minnesota Twins announce that OF Jason Kanzler has been promoted to Fort Myers (FSL).
Kanzler played in 84 games for the Kernels, batting .284 with nine HR and 48 RBI. He also stole 15 bases in 22 attempts.
Kanzler was an assistant coach at Katy High School. He was then the hitting coach of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers in 2019.
He was scheduled to be the hitting coach of the Corpus Christi Hooks in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19.

Jason Kanzler, who spent the last three seasons coaching in the Astros’ Minor League system, including serving as a hitting coordinator in 2021, joins the Major League staff as a coach in 2022.
