Canadian movie director Jason Priestley had a car racing accident in Kentucky in 2002. He had “crashed head-on into a wall at nearly 180 mph”, and sustained a head and spinal cord injury.

He was admitted at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, where he received treatment.
