Jean-Luc Dompé, a French professional football player for Hamburger SV of the German 2. Bundesliga, was born on August 12, 1995. He plays as a winger. Early in his career, Dompé played for French club Valenciennes.

He made 27 appearances and scored three goals for the club’s reserves team in the CFA 1 and CFA 2. Before moving up to the first-team squad under Bernard Casoni, he played with the B-team for three seasons. Before departing in June 2015, he participated in 21 games for the Valenciennes first squad. Dompé signed a three-year contract with newly promoted Pro League team Sint-Truiden and departed France for Belgium in June 2015.
