Jeremy Allen White is an American actor. He is the son of Richard White and Eloise White. Both his parents pursued acting careers. Eloise, his mother, is from North Carolina and has a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University.

His parents met and performed on stage together for several years before marrying. After marrying, the couple ended their acting careers and obtained jobs that would help them support their new family.
White was a dancer in elementary school, specialising in ballet, jazz, and tap. At the age of 13, he had a change of heart and decided to pursue acting after enrolling in a new middle school dance programme. He attended the Professional Performing Arts School for high school.
