A Cessna 180 crash was reported 35 miles northeast of Shaktoolik after troopers received word of an SOS activation at 11:48 a.m. on Friday.

Tweto moved to Unalakleet, where he met his wife Ferno, after moving to Alaska to play hockey at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Tweto was born in Kansas and reared in Minnesota. The couple and their three daughters were shown in the 2011–2012 Discovery series.

According to his daughter Ariel’s Instagram post, Tweto, 68, passed away while doing what he loved. Reynolds, 45, was described by the woman as “a wonderful hunting guide and friend of our family.”
