Joe Bleymaier, an American football coach, was born on August 9, 1982, and he currently oversees the wide receivers for the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs (NFL). Prior to this, he worked for the Chiefs as an assistant quarterbacks coach, pass game analyst, and quality control, coach. He also served as a quality control coach at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Former college teammate and Chiefs general manager Brett Veach, as well as former Delaware quarterback and then-Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, recommended Bleymaier for the Kansas City Chiefs coaching staff in 2016 as a quality control coach. In 2018, he was promoted to pass game analyst and assistant quarterbacks coach, and the following season, the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV.

Bleymaier, one of the Chiefs coaches whose duties include advance scouting of opposing teams, was one of the assistant coaches credited with assisting the Chiefs in converting a 4th-and-1 play in the 2020 AFC Divisional Round, which helped them advance to the next round of the playoffs. Andy Reid, the Chiefs’ head coach, also praised him for his work behind the scenes on the team’s innovative and creative offensive concepts.
