Johan Hamel Children: Did Johan Hamel Have Kids?

It is unknown if Johan Hamel had children or not. He was a private person and he spoke less about his personal life outside the working environment.

On March 6, 2011, Johan made his professional debut directly in Ligue 1, the highest football league in France, in a match between Olympique Marseille and Lille.

He officially became a referee of 136 Ligue 1 matches. He was also the referee of 86 Ligue 2 matches.

His last match as a referee was the match between Lille OSC and Rennes on November 6, 2022, and on November 13, he was a video assistant referee of Paris Saint-Germain against Auxerre.

A few days later on November 15, he died from a heart attack during training at the age of 42.
