Greek-American actor John Aniston, passed away from an unknown cause on November 11, 2022. He was aged 89.

His daughter cum actress, Jennifer Aniston took to Instagram to confirm her father’s demise.

“You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now. I’ll love you till the end of time”, she wrote.

Condolences have been pouring out from across the globe to the Aniston family.

Who Was John Aniston?

John Aniston was a Greek-born American actor who gained the most recognition for his portrayal of Victor Kiriakis, on the NBC daytime drama series Days of Our Lives.

Aniston is the father of actress Jennifer Aniston. He was born on July 24, 1933, in Chania, Greece.

Aniston started his acting career in 1962 and has since starred in a number of movies and TV shows, including American Dreams, Journeyman, Gilmore Girls, The West Wing, Short Walk to Freedom, the 1969 Mission Impossible, Combat! (1964), My Big Fat Greek Life (2002), and Mad Men.

He was nominated for and won a Daytime Emmy Award and a Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award while he was still alive.

He is also a two-time winner of the Soap Opera Digest Awards.
