Sports journalist and lecturer, Collins Atta Poku, has revealed distressing news regarding the health of the late Deputy Finance Minister, John Kumah, indicating a decline since November 2023.

The late Member of Parliament for Ejisu Constituency was tragically en route from Kumasi to Accra in an ambulance when he succumbed to his fate.
According to Atta Poku, John Kumah had plans to seek medical attention in Germany from Accra on March 7, 2023. Unfortunately, his journey was cut short as he passed away during transit.
Reports suggest that he had been in his constituency in the Ashanti Region to commemorate the independence anniversary when his health began to deteriorate rapidly.

In a desperate attempt to save him, the ambulance diverted to Suhum Government Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. His body has been transferred to the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
