Former American football wide receiver Jonathan Alexander Krause, who was born on January 18, 1992, is now the wide receivers coach for the San Diego State Aztecs. In addition to attending South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, Georgia, he played collegiate football at Vanderbilt. He has participated in games for the Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, and New England Patriots.

Krause was a dynamic offensive option for the Commodores and a member of Coach Bobby Johnson’s final recruiting class at Vanderbilt. In total, he caught 98 passes for 1,197 yards during his career. He added two touchdowns on the ground. Krause agreed to play with the Buccaneers. He was waived by the Buccaneers as part of the team’s final roster cuts on September 3, 2016.
