Joseph McFadden is a Scottish actor best known for his appearances in The Crow Road, Sex, Chips, Rock n’ Roll, Heartbeat, and Holby City. He won the 2017 series of Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One with professional dance partner Katya Jones.

From January 2014 until December 2017, he starred as Raffaello “Raf” di Lucca in the BBC One hospital drama Holby City.
In August 2017, he was revealed as a competitor in the fifteenth series of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, partnering with Katya Jones, finally winning in the final and capturing the prestigious Glitterball Trophy.
On 21 January 2019, it was reported that McFadden would feature in the 2019-20 UK tour of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
