Who Is Katie Britt?

Katie Britt is an American politician, and a United States Senator-elect from Alabama.

Britt is a graduate of Political Science from the University of Alabama and also holds a law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.

She previously held the positions of chief of staff for U.S. Senator Richard Shelby from 2016 to 2018, as well as president and CEO of the Business Council of Alabama from 2018 to 2021.

As a fervent supporter of the Trump administration, Britt received Trump’s official endorsement in 2022, during which he referred to her as a “fearless America First warrior.”

Britt won the race for the U.S. Senate in 2022 and will begin serving in that capacity in January 2023. She was elected as Alabama’s first female U.S. senator.

Britt who holds conservative views, was also the second-youngest woman overall and the youngest Republican woman to be elected as a U.S. Senator.
