Gary McCabe is the older brother of Katie McCabe.

Gary is a former Irish footballer who last played for Bray Wanderers as a winger.
He was born on August 1, 1988, in Dublin, Ireland, to Gary McCabe Sr. and Sharon McCabe.
Gary began his football career with the youth teams of Shelbourne and Crumlin United before joining his first senior team Bray Wanderers in 2007.
During his two-year stints with Wanderers, he was loaned to first division title chasing side Shelbourne for the 2008 season.

At the end of the season, Gary signed for Sligo Rovers in December 2009 helping Sligo Rovers to finish 3rd place in the 2009-2010 league season and also won the League of Ireland Cup and the FAI Cup.
He then joined Shamrock Rovers, an Irish professional football club based in Tallaght, South Dublin in 2011 where he spent five years before returning to his former team Bray Wanderers in 2017.
Gary then finished his football career with Bray Wanderers in 2018.
