Kendrick Lamar’s Beef Song ‘Not Like Us’ Becomes Fastest Rap Song to Reach 200M Spotify Streams

Kendrick Lamar has once again outperformed Drake, this time with his track “Not Like Us,” which has achieved a new milestone.

The song, which throws shade at Drake, has now outpaced Drake’s hit “God’s Plan” by becoming the quickest rap song to amass 200 million streams on Spotify. This feat was accomplished in just 19 days, as reported by RapTV on X, the platform previously known as Twitter.

In a recent surge of success, Kendrick shattered another one of Drake’s records amid their ongoing rivalry. The diss track produced by Mustard set a new record as the fastest hip-hop song to hit 100 million streams on Spotify, a title that Drake once held with his track from the album Scorpion.

The competition between the two rappers has heated up the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their diss tracks. On May 13, Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” debuted at the top spot and is currently in second place.

His previous diss track, “Euphoria,” held the third spot in its second week and has now dropped to the eleventh position. The song that ignited the feud, “Like That” by Metro Boomin and Future, was sixth on the May 13 chart and has since moved to seventh.

Drake’s response to Kendrick, “Family Matters,” initially entered the chart at seventh place and has fallen to nineteenth. Meanwhile, Kendrick’s “Meet the Grahams” is ranked twenty-third.

Mustard expressed his elation over returning to the top and proclaimed that Los Angeles is back in the game. He emphasized the importance of proving oneself, expressing gratitude without surprise, and maintaining focus despite challenges. Mustard declared the start of summer on his terms and hinted at an upcoming surprise, giving a shoutout to Kendrick Lamar and signaling the resurgence of the city.
