The 64-year-old actor admitted to “pushing the boundaries” when discussing allegations of inappropriate behavior that affected his career since 2017.

Despite being found not guilty of sexual assault charges in a London trial last year and having a U.S. court dismiss a sexual assault lawsuit against him in 2022, Spacey still faces a civil trial over a 2008 assault allegation, which he denies.

Spacey revealed that his Baltimore home is being sold at auction due to mounting legal bills. In the interview, he explained his past actions as touching others in a way he thought was consensual, adding that he has always been gentle.

He expressed readiness to take responsibility for his past “bad behavior,” but also claimed many accusations against him were false.

The recent Channel 4 documentary “Spacey Unmasked” featured new allegations from actors Ruari Cannon and Danny De Lillo. Spacey called these claims “ridiculous” and “offensive.”

Following the documentary, stars like Sharon Stone and Stephen Fry supported Spacey’s return to acting, with Stone calling him a genius.

Spacey, who won Oscars for “American Beauty” and “The Usual Suspects,” was the artistic director at the Old Vic Theatre from 2004 to 2015.

An investigation into his conduct at the theatre found no evidence of formal complaints.

He was fired from “House of Cards” in 2017 after the initial allegations and was replaced in “All the Money in the World” by Christopher Plummer.
