Jin Young Ko is a South Korean women’s golfer.

After joining the LPGA Tour for the 2018 season, she won her first tournament as a Tour member in February, the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open, becoming only the second woman in LPGA history to do so.
With 13 top-10 finishes in 25 events in 2018, she was voted LPGA Rookie of the Year and finished the season as the world’s 10th-ranked female golfer.

She won her first two LPGA majors in 2019, the ANA Inspiration and the Evian Championship. Ko won the official money title ($2,773,894), the Vare Trophy for the lowest scoring average (69.06), and was awarded LPGA Player of the Year in 2019.
She won the LPGA official money championship ($1,667,925) in 2020 despite playing in only four events due to the COVID-19 epidemic and concluded the season as the world’s number one rated golfer. Ko earned the LPGA Player of the Year award and the official money title again in 2021.
