He was born on July 12, 1991, in Paterson, New Jersey, and played college football at the University of Pittsburgh.
Williams signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2014 and played for them for two seasons before joining the 49ers in 2016. On March 23, 2022, Williams signed a two-year contract with the Denver Broncos.
