Meet Oliver Tomlinson

Oliver Tomlinson is the father of retired NFL player LaDainian Tomlinson.

He was born on 4 April 1935 in United States.

Oliver and Loreane embarked on a journey of marriage, which resulted in the birth of three children – Londria, LaDainian, and LaVar. However, the couple faced challenges that led to their eventual divorce.

Oliver, a father to a total of seven children from two marriages, had previous children named Felicia, Terry, Charles, and Ronald. Following his divorce from Loreane, Oliver remarried Jewel Tomlinson.

Tragedy struck when Oliver Tomlinson lost his life in a pickup truck accident that flipped on a highway in February 2007 at age 71. He found his final resting place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin, Falls County, Texas, United States.

Meet Loreane Chappelle

Loreane Chappelle, the mother of LaDainian Tomlinson, is a Marlin, Texas native who worked as a preacher.

Her life journey is intertwined with Oliver Tomlinson, and together they raised three children – Londria, LaDainian, and LaVar.

After the divorce from Oliver, Loreane married Herman Chappell, expanding LaDainian’s family with three step-siblings: Herman Jr., Michael, and Lonnie.

Loreane Chappelle currently resides in Humble, Texas.
