Emilio Delgado was a Mexican American television, film and stage actor, voice artist and singer best known for his role as Luis, the Fix-it shop owner, on the children’s TV series, Sesame Street.

In 202,  Delgado was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. He died from the disease at his home in New York on March 10, 2022, at the age of 81.
