Lizaad Williams is married to Adri Williams, who is a Bachelor of Commerce Graduate. The duo reportedly tied the knot in May 2021 and had been dating each other before their marriage as well.

The 28-year-old made his T20I debut against Pakistan at Johannesburg on April 10, 2021. He returned with figures of 1/39 in the game. Williams has represented South Africa Under-19 and Boland Under-19. He plays domestic cricket for Boland and franchise cricket for the Cape Cobras. His First-Class debut came back in 2012 while his List A and T20 debut came in 2011 and 2013 respectively.

He picked up three wickets in the first innings and scored 12 runs as well. His only ODI match was against Ireland in Dublin on July 16, 2021, where he picked up one wicket.
