Louis Zorich died on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, in Manhattan, New York, United States at his apartment at the age of 93.

Louis Zorich was laid to rest at Mount Hebron Cemetery Montclair, Essex County, New Jersey, United States of America.

Louis Zorich had three children including Christina Zorich, Stefan Zorich and Peter Zorich. He had four grandchildren. Louis Zorich married Olympia Dukakis in 1962.

Louis Zorich has appeared in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988), the TV crime drama series Columbo, and the comedy TV series Brooklyn Bridge.

Louis Zorich starred in the movie version of Fiddler on the Roof (1971). Louis Zorich played a Greek restaurant owner in The Muppets Take Manhattan (1984),

In 1969, Louis Zorich played a “venal Italian cardinal” in Hadrian VII where he was nominated for a Tony Award.

Louis Zorich and his wife founded the Whole Theatre Company in Montclair, New Jersey in 1973, The Whole Theatre Company became New Jersey’s first resident professional theatre and they operated it for 18 years.
