Yayoi Kusama and Louis Vuitton have a long history of working together on design projects. Under Marc Jacobs’ creative leadership, the high-end French brand and a modern artist initially collaborated in 2012, more than ten years ago. The artwork they produced together, in the beginning, is now a highly prized collectible.

In their most recent collaboration, Yayoi Kusama uses her signature polka dots to decorate vintage Louis Vuitton items, giving the House’s emblem a modern, painted appearance.

Along with the polka dots that are frequently associated with the Japanese artist, the collection also has other well-known design elements from her artwork, such as painted dots and psychedelic flowers.
