Maisie Williams Pistol Release Date

Pistol will launch on Hulu on May 31 and the miniseries will be available on Disney+.

Game of Thrones star, Maisie Williams, will take on the role of Pamela Rooke – aka Jordan – in the new biopic titled Pistol.

The show will follow the career of the British punk band and their rise to fame in the 1970s.

While the Sex Pistols only produced one album, they have been idolised as one of the most significant groups in rock ‘n’ roll history.

The series is based on guitarist Steve Jones’ memoir Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex Pistol and Toby Wallace will take on his role in the miniseries.

Anson Boon (1917) will star as frontman John Lydon aka Johnny Rotten, while newcomer Jacob Slater plays drummer Paul Cook, Louis Partridge (Enola Holmes, Paddington 2) will appear as bassist Sid Vicious with The Witcher’s Emma Appleton as Nancy Spungen.

Trainspotting’s Danny Boyle has directed the series that was created and written by Craig Pearce (The Great Gatsby).
