A defensive midfielder for both the Croatian national team and Serie A club Inter Milan, Marcelo Brozović was born in Croatia on November 16, 1992.

He is usually considered as one of the top defensive midfielders in the world.
Brozović signed a seven-year contract with Dinamo Zagreb in August 2012 to take Milan Badelj’s position, who was headed to Hamburger SV.
He was assigned squad number 77, and on September 14 at home against NK Osijek, he made his professional debut as a substitute in the second half of the scoreless draw.

Four days later, on the first matchday of the group stage, Brozovi made his UEFA Champions League debut by playing the entire 90 minutes in his team’s 0-2 loss to Porto at home.
