Marnie Schulenburg was born on May 21, 1984, in Barnstable, Massachusetts, United States. She was raised alongside two brothers; Gus Schulenburg, a playwright and Allan Schulenburg, a music teacher.

Marnie Schulenburg graduated from Barnstable High School in 2002 and had taken dance and voice lessons at the Cape Cod Conservatory. She proceeded to DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theatre in May 2006.

Marnie Schulenburg later relocated to New York City in September 2006, where she began auditioning for acting roles. She joined the Dramatists Guild of America and rose to prominence for her role as Alison Stewart on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns (2007–2010). The role earned her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2010.

Marnie Schulenburg made her film debut in the romantic comedy Made for Each Other (2009) and has since appeared in Fringe, Divorce, Manhattan Love Story, Army Wives, Canterbury’s Law, Elementary, Blue Bloods, Alpha House, series Royal Pains, As You Like It (2006), South Pacific (2011), One Night Stand (2011), One Life to Live, Tainted Dreams (2013) and The Good Fight.

Marnie Schulenburg passed away on May 17, 2022, in Bloomfield, New Jersey, the United States from metastatic breast cancer at a hospital in Bloomfield, New Jersey.
