Marta Xargay is a former professional basketball player from Spain who played as a shooting guard/point guard for Uni Girona CB (2005–2009, 2020), CB Avenida (2009–2015), Phoenix Mercury (2015–2016), USK Praha (2015–2018), and WBC Dynamo Kursk (2018–2019) in their respective countries.

Marta won the EuroLeague Women championship with CB Avenida in the 2010–11 season, making it the first time in club history that this has ever happened. She won the ‘Silver’ medal in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro while competing internationally for Spain. It was Spain’s first-ever medal in an Olympic women’s basketball competition.

While they were colleagues with the Russian basketball team WBC Dynamo Kursk, Marta started dating American professional basketball player Breanna Stewart (born Breanna Mackenzie Baldwin). On July 6, 2021, the couple exchanged vows on the rooftop of Breanna’s apartment complex. Through surrogacy, they are the parents of Ruby Mae Stewart-Xargay, who was born on August 9, 2021.
