In a heart-wrenching account shared on Facebook, Matilda Amissah-Arthur, the wife of the late former Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, bravely narrated her terrifying encounter during a robbery that nearly cost her life.

She described how she was jolted awake by the sudden illumination of her room, only to face a masked assailant wielding a gun.
Despite complying with the robber’s demands for money and jewelry, she was subjected to threats and violence, including being strangled and assaulted.
Throughout the ordeal, she clung to prayer, seeking both her own salvation and that of her attacker.

As the harrowing minutes passed, Mrs. Amissah-Arthur lost consciousness, only to find herself in a peaceful realm during her unconscious state, where she experienced an otherworldly encounter before returning to consciousness.
Miraculously, she survived the vicious assault and received medical attention.
The perpetrator, Yahuza Osumanu, has been apprehended by the police and faces numerous charges related to this incident and other robberies in the Accra area. Despite pleading not guilty, he remains in custody, denied bail pending further legal proceedings.
