Michael Amadio, a professional ice hockey center with the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Vegas Golden Knights, was born in Canada on May 13, 1996. The Los Angeles Kings selected Amadio with the 90th overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

Before being chosen by the Brampton Battalion with the 36th overall pick in the 2012 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection, Amadio was a prolific scorer competing at the bantam and midget levels in Northern Ontario.

He spent two seasons with the Battalion during their move to North Bay before being chosen by the Los Angeles Kings with the final choice in the third round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
