He is a member of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and has received a Grammy and a Daytime Emmy Award, as well as nominations for a Tony and a British Academy Film Award.

Mike Faist is best known for his work in musical theatre, particularly for his performance as Connor Murphy in the critically acclaimed Broadway musical “Dear Evan Hansen.”

Faist’s powerful and emotional portrayal of Connor Murphy garnered him a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. Prior to his breakthrough role in “Dear Evan Hansen,” Faist had appeared in several other theatre productions.

Outside of theatre, Faist has also ventured into television and film. In 2021, Faist appeared in the series Panic and made his feature film debut as Riff, the leader of the Jets, in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, for which he received critical acclaim and a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
