American professional basketball player Mohamed Bamba (born May 12, 1998) plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was a Texas Longhorns basketball player in college.

He was highly rated by scouts because of his wingspan of 7 ft. 10 in. (2.39 m). He was one of the best high school prospects for the class of 2017, attending Cardigan Mountain School in Canaan, New Hampshire, and Westtown School in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Bamba attended the all-boys residential school Cardigan Mountain School in Canaan, New Hampshire, for the eighth and ninth grades.

Bamba continued his education at Westtown School in Westtown, Pennsylvania after graduating from Cardigan.
He had an average of 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 blocks per game as a junior.

Mo Bamba was not known to be a parent as of 2022. Bamba participated in 57 games for the Magic during the 2018–19 season, averaging 6.2 points and 5.0 rebounds per contest. Bamba appeared in 67 games in the 2019–20 season, averaging 8.0 points and 5.0 rebounds each time. He also continued to get better.
