Born on January 5, 2001, Mykhailo “Misha” Petrovych Mudryk is a gifted football player from Ukraine. Both the Ukraine national team and Premier League club Chelsea presently use him as a left winger.

Mudryk joined the reserves after playing three Ukrainian Premier League games for his old team Shakhtar in January 2021. He made few appearances while working for Luis Castro.
Mudryk’s circumstances, however, changed when Roberto De Zerbi was hired as Shakhtar’s coach. De Zerbi believed in developing players, and he recognized Mudryk’s potential that had gone unrealized under his previous managers.
Mudryk’s perspective changed after speaking with De Zerbi, and he started to exhibit the qualities that made him one of the best young players.

On August 25, Mudryk made his UEFA Champions League debut. He replaced Manor Solomon in the 82nd minute of Shakhtar’s play-off round match against AS Monaco.
With a 114th-minute goal that helped Shakhtar advance to the tournament with an overall score of 3-2, his cross deflected off Ruben Aguilar and into the back of the net.
He made his club debut on September 18 in a 5-0 victory over Mariupol. He contributed four assists on December 3 in a 6-1 victory over Lviv.
