Nana Aba Anamoah Claims People Are Being Charged Ghc500 For Their Positive COVID-19 Test To Be Changed To Negative

Television personality, Nana Aba Anamoah, claims that people are being charged Ghc500 for their positive COVID-19 test to be changed to negative.

Nana Aba Anamoah‘s claim comes on the back of viral audio of a man who alleged that he was called back to Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research for his positive COVID-19 test to be changed into negative on a condition that he pays Ghc500.

According to the man, they deliberately gave him a positive result and then later called him back to pay more for the real result which was negative to be given to him to travel back overseas.

One Akosua Addai Amoo tweeted;

“If we are really serious about COVID-19 and the fight against it, there is no way testing should be 300 cedis and above if you want to know your status quickly.”

Then Nana Aba Anamoah replied and alleged saying;

“Sister, some of our people are charging 500 cedis to change a positive result to negative”.
