Broady began playing tennis when she was seven years old and won the British Under-18 girls’ championship in 2007.
From January 2004 to June 2008, Broady competed on the junior ITF Circuit.

She won one singles title in April 2006 at the Sutton ITF Junior Tournament and lost four others in the quarterfinals, including the 2008 Wimbledon girls’ tournament, where she was defeated by Thailand’s Noppawan Lertcheewakarn.
Naomi’s singles win-loss record was 21-13. She has one WTA doubles title, nine ITF Women’s Circuit singles titles, and 20 doubles titles.
Broady won the Empire Slovak Open doubles competition on clay in two sets in May 2017, partnering with Heather Watson, raising her doubles ranking to a new high of 56.
