Napoli is eager to bring Romelu Lukaku to Italy under their new manager Antonio Conte, but they face strong competition from Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia.

Lukaku has been in the spotlight lately due to ongoing transfer rumors.
After a successful loan spell with Roma, where he scored 21 goals in 47 games, Lukaku returned to Chelsea.
However, Chelsea has set a €44 million price tag on the Belgian striker, and he is not expected to stay in West London next season.
Conte, now managing Napoli, is keen to reunite with Lukaku to replace Victor Osimhen, who is expected to leave Italy soon.

Napoli has already made an initial offer for Lukaku. A source close to the negotiations mentioned that Napoli is serious about signing him, adding that Conte views Lukaku as a crucial part of his plans.
Napoli’s sporting director Giovanni Manna is set to engage in talks with Chelsea to finalize the deal.
However, the process is complicated by Al-Ittihad’s interest, as the Saudi club has significant financial support from the Public Investment Fund.
Although Milan had also shown interest in Lukaku, he is reportedly not a priority for them at this time.
