Nick Saban Car Accident

Alabama football coach Nick Saban was involved in a minor car accident Friday night, AL.com. reports.

The incident occurred near Birmingham, Alabama.

An Alabama spokesperson told AL.com that there were no injuries involved in the crash.

Also, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office had no record of the accident which indicates that no reports were filed by either Saban or the other party involved.

Nick Saban is an American football coach who has been the head football coach at the University of Alabama since 2007.

Entering his 15th with the Tide, Saban is one of the longest-tenured head coaches in college football history.

The 70-year-old has been a head coach at one level or another since 1995 and has won championships with multiple different teams.

He became the first coach in college football history to win a national championship with two different Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) schools since the inception of the AP Poll in 1936.

Saban’s career record as a college head coach is 269–67–1.

In 2013, Saban was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame.
