Nigerian singer, Davido, has expressed worry and disappointment in what his country, Nigeria is turning into.

His worry comes at the back of the government’s decision to suspend the use of Twitter in the country due to a Tweet that was deleted from President Buhari’s page.

If readers will recall, the Federal Government of Nigeria disclosed that it will suspend the use of the app in the country indefinitely after the company deleted a controversial tweet President Muhammadu Buhari made about a secessionist movement.

Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed said government officials decided to suspend Twitter because the platform was being used for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence.
Reacting to this, Davido took to his Twitter page and mentioned that Nigeria was once a country now, he has no idea what it is turning into.
Davido said;
“Nigeria, was once a country”.
