Noa Kirel is a singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and television host from Israel. She is the daughter of Amir and Ilana Kirel.

Noa Kirel is the youngest of three children. She has two older brothers. Her father is the CEO of Glassco Glass, a glass importer based in the Barkan industrial park. Kirel has relatives who were murdered during the Holocaust on her father’s side.
Her parents named her Noya, but when she was two months old and diagnosed with a severe kidney illness, a rabbi suggested changing her name to Noa (“Noa” can also spell “movement” in Hebrew).

Kirel was drafted into the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) in February 2020 and served in a unique military band. She was given an honourable discharge and will complete her two-year mandatory service on February 14, 2022.
Between 2017 and 2022, Noa Kirel won the MTV Europe Music Awards for best Israeli act. Her song “Unicorn” has been chosen to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
