Olivia Nelson-Ododa is a basketball player who plays as a power forward for the Connecticut Sun of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).
Born on August 17, 2000, in Michigan, USA, Olivia played high school basketball at Winder-Barrow High School, where she won Athens Banner-Herald Co-Player of the Year, and played in the McDonald’s All-American Game.

As a high school senior, “she averaged 19 points, 16 rebounds, and six blocks per game, and was named Miss Georgia Basketball.”

Olivia chose to have her collegiate career at University of Connecticut (UConn), where she averaged 4.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game in her first year.
In her second year, Olivia earned the Second-Team All-American Athletic Conference (AAC) honors, after averaging 10.9 points, 8.5 rebounds and an AAC-best 3.1 blocks per game.
Consequently, she was named Big East Co-Defensive Player of the Year and selected to the Second Team All-Big East.
In 2022, Olivia was drafted by the Los Angeles Sparks as 19th overall pick, in the second round, of the WNBA draft.
In 2023, she was traded to the Connecticut Sun.
