Her journey began in Münchberg, Germany, where she was born to her Slovak parents, Martin Janeček and Zuzana Janečková. At an early age, Patricia’s family relocated to Ostrava in the Czech Republic, where her love for music began to flourish.

Her extraordinary talent became evident when she started singing at the tender age of four. As she grew older, Patricia’s dedication to her craft led her to enroll at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, where her formal music education began.

A Dazzling Professional Career Patricia’s journey to stardom was punctuated by a series of impressive milestones. Her very first public performance was a memorable one, taking place at the prestigious Antonín Dvořák Theatre, where she shared the stage for the first time with the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2017, Patricia Janečková’s talents graced the stage once more as she portrayed Galatea in “Acis and Galatea” alongside Collegium Marianum as part of the Janáček Music Festival.

A Brave Battle and Heartbreaking Loss Tragically, Patricia Janečková faced one of the most challenging battles of her life when, on February 10, 2022, she publicly shared her breast cancer diagnosis on her Instagram page. Her openness about her journey with cancer served as an inspiration to many, raising awareness about the disease and the importance of early detection and treatment.

Despite her courageous fight and promising signs of successful treatment that allowed her to briefly return to performing in 2023, Patricia Janečková’s life was tragically cut short when she succumbed to her illness on October 1, 2023. Her untimely passing marked a profound loss in the world of music.

A Loving Marriage to Vlastimil Burda In her personal life, Patricia Janečková found love and happiness when she married actor Vlastimil Burda in June 2023. Their union was a testament to love’s enduring power, offering her strength and support during her battle with cancer.

    My love and heart go out to you both. I am the father of two grown up girls and don’t know how I would do loosing one of them.
    I happened on Patricia looking through youtube and fell in love with her beautiful voice and wonderful looks and personality. Thank you for sharing all her music for us to watch and enjoy.

    I do not have a daughter or a grand-daughter but, if I did, I would hope she would be like Patricia.
    Your daughter has been an inspiration to me – her musical talents as well as her language skills were absolutely superb.
