Paul Burrell is a former British Royal Household servant who served as butler to the late Princess Diana.

Born on June 6, 1958, in Grassmoor, United Kingdom, Burrell began to work at the Buckingham Palace in 1987, serving Charles and Diana at Highgrove House, Gloucestershir.

Until the death of Diana, Burrell was regarded as “the only man she ever trusted”. He had played supportive roles to Diana in many ways, and as a result, she became very fond of him.

On the contrary, Burrell received rejection and hatred from Diana’s mother, Frances Shand Kydd, who thought he was a gold digger.
