Paula Jean Carruth: Meet Jerry Lawler Second Wife

Paula Jean Carruth is mostly known for being the second wife of Jerry Lawler. Jerry “The King” Lawler, sometimes known as Jerry O’Neil Lawler, is an American color commentator and professional wrestler. He was born on November 29, 1949. Although he hasn’t worked as a full-time commentator since April 2020, he is currently signed to WWE.

He wrestled in many areas before joining WWE (then known as the World Wrestling Federation) in 1992. During his career, he won numerous championships, including multiple World Heavyweight Championships.

Lawler has won the AWA World Heavyweight Championship once, the WCWA World Heavyweight Championship three times, and the USWA United World Heavyweight Championship 28 times.

He unified the championships by defeating Kerry Von Erich at Superclash III. He is also well-known for his conflict with comedian Andy Kaufman, and in the 1999 movie Man on the Moon, he played himself.

Lawler has held more recognizable championships than any other professional wrestler in history, but he has never won a championship in the WWE, where he has only sometimes competed while largely offering color commentary. Lawler was admitted to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007.

Paula Jean Carruth: Meet Jerry Lawler’s Second Wife

On February 14, 1982, Jerry O’Neil Lawler wed Paula Jean Carruth, his second wife. Paula may come to mind from her appearance on The Jerry Lawler Show’s “Paula’s Picks” segment. Paula and Jerry were wed for nine years (1982- 1991).

On June 3, 1971, Jerry wed Kay Williams, becoming her first husband. They had two sons, Brian Christopher Lawler, and Kevin Christian Lawler, before divorcing in 1978.

Stacy Carter (known as The Kat in the WWE) was Lawler’s third wife, whom he wed on September 29, 2000, and divorced on July 21, 2001.
