The Brazilian professional footballer Pedrinho plays as an attacking midfielder for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Atlético Mineiro, on loan from Ukrainian Premier League club Shakhtar Donetsk.

A native of Maceió, State of Alagoas, Pedrinho started football playing at the age of 7 joining the Centro Sportivo Alagoano youth team and later Esporte Clube Vitória youth side.

Pedrinho also had a stint with Sport Club Corinthians Paulista youth team before being promoted to the senior team in 2017.

After making 134 appearances for Corinthians in three seasons, Pedrinho joined S.L. Benfica on March 11, 2020, for a reported fee of €20 million.

Pedrinho subsequently played a season for Benfica before he was sold for 18 million euros to the Ukrainian Premier League side Shakhtar Donetsk.

On 30 June 2022, Atlético Mineiro announced an agreement with Shakhtar for the signing of Pedrinho on a one-year loan.
